You can control your guest count, if you want to limit your party to 50-100 guests, people are way less likely to complain about not being invited if you're planning a destination wedding. Plus you can always have a party back home again if you feel like it!
Everyone gets to go on a mini or extended holiday. It’s so nice to have everyone arrive a few days before the wedding, have dinner, go to the beach, have brunch and spend quality time with your closest people before your wedding day.
Destination weddings are different, different than what we experience in our home towns and Countries, we’re always trying to do something different, the world is your oyster and if you can dream it, it can happen.
It’s (nearly) always less expensive than a wedding at home. If its not a whole lot less expensive, you will usually tend to get way more bang for your buck!
Destination weddings are usually 2-5 days long, this may be insane for some people but perfect for those who want to cherish and live our every minute of their wedding celebrations.
Have your wedding and stay for your honeymoon. SO you get married, have the most epic wedding and then everyone leaves and you stay to enjoy and celebrate your first few days of marriage. Literally a dream come true.
Life experience and embracing new cultures, there are so many ways to embrace culture and depending on your desired destination, you can adapt some beautiful and local ceremonial aspects into your own ceremony.
Colours and vibrancy, another reason to have a destination wedding, the colours and the florals, golden hour at sunset…
Food and beverage, still top shelf can often come at a far better rate than at home.
You’re already spending all the $$$, you may as-well enjoy the incredible local wine or margaritas with a view :)
and finally, Everyone is so happy on vacation, they all shut off from their busy lives and they are all there for love, your love!
