Our love story

We first met on a dating website. It was Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 when Emilly first messaged me. We spent about a day and a half messaging back and forth, the texting was off to a great start so we decided why not go for a casual drink to see if there was any chemistry between us. Thursday evening rolled around and we met at Wellesley station at around 5pm. Emilly was waiting for me in the main station and as I came up the escalator we locked eyes and fell in love in that very moment, I kid you not!!

After catching our breath and coming back down to planet earth, we left the station and took a walk along the busy streets of Toronto. We were both completely smitten and very giddy, I don’t even remember what we talked about, I was new to the city and didn’t know of many places, so Emilly took me to the Vic on Church St. We nestled into the the cosy window seat and our “casual drink” turned into six hours of getting to know one another, sharing stories from our respective countries, and pretty much just in awe of each other! We spent the following days and weeks going to new restaurants across the city, watching movies in bed and smoking cigarettes together(thankfully, we don’t smoke anymore), cooking each other dinner and flowering each other with great wine and Godiva chocolates!

A little over a month later we moved in together and started our lifelong adventure. We go together like tacos + margaritas and believe that we are destined soulmates.  Fast forward through what feels like a lifetime of adventures together, on New Years Day in 2018, Emilly proposed to me in Connemara, Galway (my favourite place in the world). It was the best day of my life and the biggest surprise. We got married on the 12th of September 2019 in Sandbanks, Ontario with our closest friends and family around us - it was a perfect wedding!

We both love to travel, and coming from very different parts of the world, we are usually taking off somewhere to catch up with family and friends or off to shoot a destination wedding. We have two dogs, Chloe, the Pomeranian Queen, Jolie, the pug and the best behaved one, and finally the man of the house, Murphy, our cat! We both love fine dining, exploring new places, watching movies, meeting new people, taking photos, chasing sunsets and creating timeless films for our clients.

We can’t wait to hear your love story!
